Clinical Hypnosis is a client-led therapy.  It is an evidence-based therapy, supported by major health organizations such as the NIH (National Institute of Health), APA (American Psychiatric Association), and the VA (Veteran’s Affairs).  Many people associate hypnosis with the media-driven visual of a pocket watch swinging before a participant awakens to find they imitated a chicken on stage.  This is “entertainment hypnosis,” and not something you have to worry about in office.  As per ASCH, Clinical Hypnosis is a state of consciousness involving focused attention and reduced peripheral awareness characterized by an enhanced capacity for response to suggestion.  Professionals use Clinical Hypnosis to help clients bring about both psychological and physiological changes.

At The Center For Inner Alchemy, Clinical Hypnosis is used as a complementary treatment, aiding to deepen the experience of other modalities.  We do not offer cessation therapy.
